Prior to joining Georgetown, Spicer had work for the Laurel Police Department (June 17, 2008 – Aug. 24, 2008); Bridgeville Police Department (March 1, 2004 – June 15, 2008); and the Delaware Department of Corrections (2000 to 2004).

Chad Spicer was a native of Georgetown having graduated from Sussex Central High School, and Delaware Technical and Community College in 1999.

Chad Spicer was tragically killed in the line of duty on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009 during a traffic stop.

The cost is only $10 and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Chad Spicer Foundation.  The Chad Spicer Memorial Foundation, Inc., is dedicated to extending support and relief to members of the community who are in need. Further, the Foundation will promote hope, strength, and courage while fulfilling Chad’s goals of helping the community he gave his life for, thus ensuring his legacy lives on forever.
